Product Overview
Small Impulse Hydro Turbine Turgo Turbine with Stainless Steel Runner designed for 100m water head applications. The Turgo turbine is an impulse turbine suitable for heads ranging from 50m to 250m.
Operating Principle
Water from the penstock is transformed into a high-speed jet through the nozzle. The water is directed at a 22.5° angle to one side of the runner and discharges at the other side. The dynamic force of the water flow causes the runner to rotate rapidly.
