Test Modes
Cable Testing: Measures length, verifies wiring diagrams, identifies Remote ID locators, and tests Ethernet ports. MicroScanner™ PoE can also display HIGH Ω when the cable resistance exceeds 12.5 Ω. Results are displayed on a single screen.
Audio: Generates IntelliTone™ and standard analog audio signals.
PoE Detection: Requests and detects the presence of PoE devices compatible with 802.3af, at, bt, and UPOE (Cisco Universal Power over Ethernet).

Calibration: User-configurable twisted-pair NVP value. The actual NVP value can be determined using a cable of known length.
Wiring Diagram Testing: Detects single wire faults, short circuits, misconnections, broken pairs, and up to seven remote adapter IDs. Draws a wiring diagram to scale for visually indicating the approximate location of the fault.
Ethernet Port Detection: Detects the nominal speed of 802.3 Ethernet ports, suitable for 10 Mbps, 100 Mbps, 1 Gbps, 2.5 Gbps, 5 Gbps, and 10 Gbps speeds.
Audio Generator: Supports audio generation and cable diagramming using Fluke Networks digital IntelliTone™ probes. It can generate four audio frequencies compatible with standard analog probes. The SmartTone™ function reliably identifies cables in the harness when using IntelliTone or analog probes.
