Test result shown for HCG test:

1. Negative for Pregnancy. One pink-rose color band is visible on the membrane in the control zone. This result indicates that conception has not occurred or the HCG level of the sample is below the detection sensitivity of the test (<25 mIU/ml).

2. Positive for Pregnancy. Two pink-rose bands are visible on the membrane, one is in the control zone and the other in the test zone. This result indicates the HCG level of the sample is above the detection sensitivity of the test (>25mIU/ml).

3. Invalid. If there are no visible color bands on the membrane, or one pink-rose color band is visible on the membrane in the test zone, the result is invalid. Proper procedures may not have been followed in performing the assay; or the test may have deteriorated. Retest the specimen with a fresh test device.
