DIN 41612 is a DIN standard for electrical connectors widely used in rack-based electrical systems. The most widely known use of DIN 41612 connectors is in the VMEbus system.
The DIN 41612 standard has been widely accepted for various interconnection applications in telecommunications and data markets worldwide. These connectors with three rows (a, b, c) of contacts on 0.100" (2.54mm) square grid are available in wire-wrap or solder tail type terminations.
