ASTM A182 F44 / UNS S31254 Stainless Steel Weld Neck Flange 254SMO WNRF Flange
ASME B16.5 A182 F44 / Alloy 254 SMO / 1.4547 / UNS S31254 Stainless Steel WN RF Flange
ASTM A182 F44 Alloy 254 SMO / UNS S31254 Super Austenitic Stainless Steel is described as a 6% Mo Flanges super austenitic stainless
steel, which is designed for the maximum resistant to crevice corrosion and pitting. It is engineered for extreme corrosion resistance, especially in chloride-rich environments where standard stainless steels (304/316L) or duplex steels fail. It comes with high levels of molybdenum, chromium, nitrogen and is great for high chloride environments like bleach plants and chloride processing streams. There are different standards for sizing such as ASME, ANSI, DIN and other international standards.
