Stainless Steel Forged Flange ASTM A182 F347 UNS NO34700 Nuclear Power
Stainless Steel Forged Flange ASTM A182 F347 UNS NO34700 Nuclear Power
Overview
ASTM A182 F347 This steel is resistant to high-temperature corrosion and oxidation in the temperature range of 400~900℃, and can be used for pipe fittings with a working temperature of up to 850℃. In acid, alkali, salt liquid have good corrosion resistance, in the air below 800 ℃ has good oxidation resistance and weldability. With excellent high temperature stress breaking (Stress Rupture) performance and high temperature resistance to latent change performance (Creep Resistance) stress mechanical properties are better than 304 stainless steel.
Characteristic
ASME SA182 347 Slip-on flanges are slip-on flanges that are slipped over the pipe and welded with one or more fillet welds on their interior and exterior. These flanges are favored by engineers in the gas and oil industry because of their lower cost compared to other types of flanges.DIN 1.4550 socket weld flanges have the same strength as slip-on flanges and can be joined with a single fillet weld on their exterior. These flanges are used in small sizes up to 2NPS and can be found in low-pressure setups.UNS S34700 Weld Neck Flanges feature a long tapered hub that transfers the stress of the pipe to the hub. Weld neck flanges are suitable for use in repeated bending conditions and are well suited for use in high pressure environments. SS 347 blind flanges are characterized by the absence of a hole in the center. Their primary use is to leave a gap at either end of a piping system. The flange terminates the flow of media and isolates the system.347 SS spectacle blind flanges are double assemblies consisting of a gasket and a blank. The gasket allows normal flow, while the blank section cuts off the flow. Blind flanges are commonly used in systems where frequent maintenance is performed.
