ASTM B366 Hastelloy WPHC276 / N10276 90 LR Elbow, B16.9 Pipe Fitting for Chemical Reactors
What is Hastelloy C276 / N10276
Available in different sizes, Hastelloy C276 seamless butt weld fittings provide corrosion resistance in the oil and gas, petrochemical, chemical and power industries. We offer a large range of Hastelloy C22 welded butt weld pipe fittings that are being developed daily to meet the needs of the industry.
Hastelloy C276 pipe elbows are used to change the direction of material flow, thereby increasing the pressure loss in the system due to impact, friction and re-acceleration. 90 degree elbows are very useful where there are clearance problems. Hastelloy C276 reducers help to reduce large diameter nozzles in pipelines to small diameters depending on flow requirements.
Aspirinox Alloys Inc's Hastelloy C276 end caps help secure the end of the pipe for liquid and gas sealing. In addition, Hastelloy C276 crosses are durable, precisely designed, readable and leak-proof for liquids, so these are deployed in areas where there are four pipes connected together. Our Hastelloy C276 tees are used for the purpose of dispensing or collecting liquids in running piping. These short pipes have a 90° branch in the center and are highly resistant to high pressure conditions and are therefore exported all over the world.
C276 alloy (Hastelloy) is a nickel-based alloy primarily composed of nickel, molybdenum, and chromium. It is widely regarded as the "King of Corrosion Resistance" in the industrial field. Its advantages and disadvantages are very distinct and can be understood from the following aspects:
Advantages of C276 / N10276:
- Exceptional Corrosion Resistance: Broad-spectrum Acid Resistance, Chloride Environments, Special Media
- Excellent Comprehensive Mechanical Properties
- Good High-Temperature Performance
- Low Magnetic Permeability
Disadvantages of C276 / N10276:
- Extremely High Material Cost
- Difficult Processing: Difficult Machining, High-Temperature Processing Requirements, Specialized Welding Needed
- Intermediate Temperature Sensitization
- Environmental Limitations
- Limited Compatibility with Other Materials
