What is C276 specification?
Alloy C276 (UNS N10276) is an austenitic nickel-molybdenum- chromium alloy with a small addition of tungsten. It’s one of the premier corrosion resistant materials available for processing industries. Alloy C-276 has excellent corrosion resistance in both oxidizing and reducing environments.
Hastelloy C276 Spectacle Blind Flanges are made up of the nickel chromium molybdenum alloy. The composition contains 50.99% nickel, 14.5% chromium, 15% molybdenum and carbon, manganese, silicon, sulfur, cobalt, iron and phosphorus. The Hastelloy C276 Flanges have high melting point of 1370 degrees Celsius. This high melting point allows for higher operating temperatures of the flanges.
