What is Stainless Steel U Bend Tube?

 

 

Stainless steel U-tube is also known as anisotropic heating tube. Characteristic of ASTM A213 TP316LStainless Steel U Bend Tube

 

 

316L stainless steel grade is an austenitic stainless steel containing molybdenum. 316L is more resistant to general corrosion and pitting and crevice corrosion than conventional chromium-nickel austenitic stainless steels such as 304.

316L stainless steel also offers higher creep, stress-rupture, and tensile strength at elevated temperatures. Recommended temperature ranges include -255°C to 605°C (-425°F to 1200°F).

In addition to excellent corrosion resistance and strength properties, alloys 316 and 316L chromium-nickel-molybdenum alloys also offer excellent manufacturability and malleability, which is typical of austenitic stainless steels, 316L is often used in marine environments.
