ASTM A182 this specification covers forged low alloy and stainless steel piping components for use in pressure systems.
F310 flanges have low magnetic permeability due to their chemical composition. This makes A182 F310 material the first choice for cryogenic applications. Besides,F310 blind flanges do not contain molybdenum and are therefore not recommended for applications with high pitting corrosion. However, they have a degree of corrosion resistance which makes them suitable for general condition applications.
