What is  ASTM A213 TP304L ?

 

 

ASTM A213 Tp304l grade covers standard specifications for boilers, heat exchangers and superheated vessels.ASTM A213 Tp304l tube is a low carbon austenitic grade designed with a superior nickel and chromium composition that allows these tubes to work well in corrosive and oxidizing media across stress-induced settings. The versatile SA 213 TP 304L stainless steel tubing can operate in high temperature environments for long periods of time. This tubing has excellent surface quality and very low sensitization in the system.

ASTM A249 TP304 grade covers seamless, welded and two-dimensional configurations.ASME SA213 304L seamless tubing is designed to work in high temperature environments. This tube is manufactured as a hot billet by extruding the metal to weld them in the correct position. This gives a tube without any welded seams superior strength and load-bearing capacity to welded tubes.ASTM A213 TP304L welded tubes are a cost effective solution to seamless tubes. These tubes may not have the same strength, but can be shaped to different dimensions, which is not possible in seamless tubing.ASME SA 213 304L stainless steel welded tubes are produced in sheet or strip form and then welded in place using standard shop welding procedures. These tubes are tested several times before being made suitable for use in high temperature applications.SA213 Grade 304L ERW Tubing is a module that is produced after a high voltage current is passed through the metal and it is welded longitudinally.
