ASTM A312 TP310S 1.4845 Austenitic Stainless Steel Seamless Pipe For Heat Exchanger
1.4835 is a high-temperature resistant material that can be used for applications in high-temperature environments. This material has good mechanical properties and corrosion resistance in dry air. Meanwhile, when using suitable filler metal, the material exhibits excellent weldability in all common welding methods.
310S (0Cr25Ni20/0Cr25Ni20Si2), heat-resistant stainless steel, grade 0Cr25Ni20, American grade SA213/TP310S, commonly known as 310S, also known as 2520, duplex stainless steel, used in the manufacturing of high-temperature furnace tubes. Chemical composition (%) of SA213/TP310S: Ni Ni: 19.00-22.00 Cr Cr: 24.00-26.00 Si Si<=1.50 mn Mn<=2.00 c C<=0.08 s S<=0.030 p P<=0.035.
Usage: Stainless and acid resistant seamless steel pipes are used for structural parts of stainless and acid resistant steel in petroleum, chemical industry, pipelines, and various applications. The chemical composition and physical properties of the steel should be ensured.

ASTM A312 TP310S Stainless Steel Compared to other Materials
- Compared to TP304/TP316: While TP310S may not have the optimal room temperature corrosion resistance, its high-temperature performance is far superior. It is not designed for room-temperature corrosive environments.
- Compared to TP321H: Both can be used at high temperatures, but TP310S has a higher chromium-nickel content, thus offering superior resistance to oxidation and carburization, and is typically used in furnace areas with higher temperatures and harsher atmospheres.
- Core Advantage: The irreplaceable nature of TP310S lies in its extremely high chromium content, making it the preferred economical alloy for operation in oxidizing and carburizing environments above 980°C.
