ASTM B622 N06022 Hastelloy C22 Nickel Alloy Steel Tube



N06022 (Hastelloy C22) is a nickel based high-temperature alloy composed of elements such as nickel, molybdenum, cobalt, and tungsten. The nickel content is approximately 60%. It is a universal Ni Cr Mo W alloy with better overall corrosion resistance than other existing Ni Cr Mo alloys, including Hastelloy C-276, C4 alloy, and 625 alloy. N06022(Hastelloy C22) has good resistance to pitting, Crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking. It has excellent antioxidant capacity in aqueous media, including wet chlorine, nitric acid, or mixed acids containing chloride ions. At the same time, N06022(Hastelloy C22) alloy also has ideal resistance to the reduction and oxidation environments encountered during the process. With this multifunctional performance, it can be used in some troublesome environments or factories for various production purposes.


N06022(Hastelloy C22) has abnormal resistance to various chemical environments, including strong oxidizing substances, such as ferric chloride, Copper(II) chloride, chlorine and Thermal pollution solutions. Liquids (organic and inorganic), formic acid, acetic acid, cusuan anhydride, seawater, and salt solutions. Inconel 622 alloy has the ability to resist grain boundary precipitation in the heat affected zone (HAZ), and is suitable for various Chemical process in the welding state.

ASTM B622 N06022 is a nickel-based corrosion-resistant alloy. Nickel is the primary element, providing the alloy pipe with good ductility and basic corrosion resistance. Other key alloying elements include chromium, molybdenum, and tungsten. Chromium provides resistance to oxidation and corrosion in oxidizing media; molybdenum provides resistance to corrosion in reducing media and pitting and crevice corrosion; and tungsten further enhances pitting and crevice corrosion resistance and improves the pipe's mechanical strength.
