ASME SA213 / ASTM A213 This specification covers seamless ferritic and austenitic steel boiler, superheater, and heat-exchanger tubes, designated Grades T5, TP304, etc.
TP316L stainless steel pipe is a high-strength, corrosion-resistant, high-temperature-resistant material, which is widely used in petroleum, chemical, pharmaceutical, food and other fields. The mechanical properties of TP316L stainless steel pipe are better than other materials. By adding appropriate alloying elements, TP316L stainless steel pipe can maintain good mechanical properties under high temperature and high pressure environment.
The data shows that the tensile strength, flexural strength and elastic modulus of TP316L stainless steel pipe are much higher than those of traditional materials. Especially in high temperature and low temperature environments, the change characteristics of its mechanical properties are more obvious.
U tubes are manufactured by bending straight tubes. Bending is done cold on an automatic U-bend. To ensure tube wall thinning and diameter ovality are controlled, tube bending is accomplished with a mandrel inserted into the tube. What's more, the U-bend of the U-tube is stress relieved under controlled conditions and cycles for extended life.
