Ferritic stainless steel is magnetic in nature, unlike other types of stainless steel such as austenitic stainless steel. Ferritic stainless steel has a lower nickel content compared to other types of stainless steel, which makes it more cost-effective.
Ferritic Stainless Steel grade 410 is a general-purpose stainless steel that contains 11.5% chromium. It is magnetic in nature and has good corrosion resistance properties. Seamless tubes made from this grade of steel are commonly used in applications that require high-temperature resistance and moderate corrosion resistance.
