Corrosion Resistance Stainless Steel Flat Bar ASTM A276 TP304 Austenitic
Corrosion Resistance Stainless Steel Flat Bar ASTM A276 TP304 Austenitic
What does ASTM A276 mean?
The ASTM A276 specification is for hot-finished or cold-finished stainless-steel bars except for bars for reforging. This includes round squares, hexagons, and hot-rolled or extruded shapes such as angles, tees and channels that are commonly used types of stainless steel.
Bars shall be furnished in one of the following conditions:
1 Condition A — Annealed.
2 Condition H — Hardened and tempered at a relatively low temperature.
3 Condition T — Hardened and tempered at a relatively high temperature.
4 Condition S — Strain Hardened–Relatively light cold work.
5 Condition B — Relatively severe coldwork.
Stainless Steel 304 and stainless steel 304L are formed with a combination of nickel-chromium-carbon, both are used as general stainless steel with standard resistance to most corrosive environments as well as to organic and inorganic chemicals and to food and drinks.
