SA516 Gr.70 is widely used in industries such as petroleum, chemical, power plants, boilers, etc. It is used to make equipment and components such as reactors, heat exchangers, separators, spherical tanks, gas tanks, liquefied gas tanks, nuclear reactor pressure shells, boiler drums, liquefied petroleum gas cylinders, high-pressure water pipes in hydropower stations, turbine casings, etc.
A516 Gr.70N meets the requirements of the (ASME) ASTMA516/A516M standard and fully meets the needs of oil and gas with high sulfur and hydrogen content, reducing sulfur and hydrogen corrosion, reducing equipment maintenance, and increasing equipment service life. This steel plate has the following characteristics: good impact resistance, small temperature deformation, good welding performance, good fatigue resistance, good resistance to layered cracking, microalloying, high purity, low carbon equivalent, strong sulfur hydrogen resistance, and good dimensional tolerance and surface quality.
