The U Bend ASTM A815 UNS S32205 Duplex Stainless Steel Pipe is primarily composed of chromium, nickel, and molybdenum, along with other elements such as manganese, nitrogen, silicon, and iron. With a chromium content of 22%, nickel content of 5%, and molybdenum content of 3%, this type of steel is classified as a duplex stainless steel, known for its exceptional corrosion resistance due to its high alloy composition. It possesses greater strength compared to standard stainless steels and exhibits excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking in chloride-containing environments. The specifications for this pipe are as follows: ASTM A815 & ASME SA815, grades of Duplex S31803 and S32205, dimensions according to ASME/ANSI B16.9 / B16.28 and MSS SP-43 / SP-75, available in sizes ranging from 1/2" to 48" with an outer diameter of 38 mm to 206 mm (or custom sizes), wall thickness of 1.5 mm to 3 mm (or custom thickness), bend radii of 75 mm to 1500 mm, and bending options of R=1D, 2D, 3D, 5D, 6D, 8D, 10D, or custom angles of 45°, 90°, or 180°.
