ASTM A815 specifications cover two broad categories: wrought ferritic, ferritic/austenitic and martensitic stainless steel fittings of WP and CR, seamless and welded construction. WP grade pipe fittings are divided into four subcategories: WP-S, WP-W, WP-WX and WP-WU. Fitting materials shall include forgings, rods, plates, or seamless or welded tubing.

The ASTM A815 specification covers two broad categories: WP and CR, with the latest revision, A960/A960M, covering wrought ferritic, ferritic/austenitic and martensitic stainless steel fittings of seamless and welded construction. Fittings that differ from these standards may be supplied in accordance with Supplementary Requirement S58 of Specifications A960/A960M. Class CR fittings are manufactured in accordance with the requirements of MSS SP-43 and shall have a pressure rating compatible with 13.3. This specification does not apply to cast accessories.

ASTM A815 UNS S32750 is a specification for butt weld fittings of wrought austenitic, ferritic, and duplex stainless steels. The term "UNS S32750" refers to a specific grade of duplex stainless steel, also known as superduplex stainless steel.
