SA 213 standard covers heat exchanger tubes made of ferritic and austenitic steels. sa213 316L is a lower carbon version of the 316 material. As a result, SA 213 Tp 316L has higher toughness but lower strength than 316 grade pipes. SA 213 Tp 316L tubes can be produced by resistance welding, electrofusion welding or cold drawing.
