ASTM A403 WP321 Stainless Steel 180° Elbow , ASME B16.9 Buttweld Pipe Fitting
ASTM A403 / ASME SA403 WP321 Steel 180 Degree Elbow, Stainless Steel Buttweld Pipe Fitting
The elbow fitting allows for changes in direction of the piping system, typically at angles of 45 degrees, 90 degrees or 180 degree. Stainless steel 321 is primarily composed of chromium (Cr), nickel (Ni), and titanium (Ti). The addition of titanium enhances the material's resistance to intergranular corrosion. This grade is known for excellent resistance to oxidation and many corrosive environments, particularly at elevated temperatures. Suitable for applications in temperatures up to around 900°F (480°C) depending on the specific conditions.

Butt Weld Elbow (45°)
A 45-degree buttweld elbow is used to change the direction of a piping system by 45 degrees. It allows for a gradual turn in the flow, which can be beneficial for reducing pressure loss and turbulence.

Butt Weld Elbow (90°)

Butt Weld Elbow (180°)
A 180-degree buttweld elbow creates a U-bend in the piping system, reversing the flow direction completely. It effectively allows for full redirection in the piping layout. Commonly used in applications where a return flow is necessary, such as in cooling systems and certain hydraulic applications.
