0.9*250MM Medical Stainless Steel Capillary Tube , Biopsy Needle Application , ISO9626 06Cr19Ni10
Stainless steel capillary tubes are common high precision tubes with small outer diameter and thin wall thickness. These tubes are generally manufactured by SUS304, SUS316L stainless steel strips as such materials have good resistant to corrosion. Stainless steel capillary tubes are not only used for industry applications, but also used for medical applications. They can be used for the process for medical devices, such as medical catheters, medical needle tubes, cannulas, and so on. For medical uses, the medical grade stainless steel capillary tubes are complied with ISO9626: 2016 standard. All of our finished capillary tubes will be inspected according to EN ISO14857:2015 inspection standard. Keep tight dimension tolerance and smooth surface without inpurities. Most of capillary tubes are applied for medical needle tubes, so the outer diameter sizes can be ranging from 10 Gauge to 34 Gauge and wall thickness can be regular wall, thin wall, extra-thin wall for choosing. For length of capillary tubes, we can cut acoording to clients' request.
Stainless Steel 304 Material:
- Composition: Austenitic stainless steel with 18% Cr, 8% Ni, and low carbon content. Offers good corrosion resistance and formability.
- Medical Suitability: While 316L (with Mo) is more corrosion-resistant, SS304 is cost-effective and acceptable for applications not requiring extreme resistance (e.g., non-implantable devices).
- Biocompatibility: Must comply with ISO 10993 for biological safety, though this is separate from ISO 9626.
Key Advantages:
- Corrosion Resistance: Suitable for saline, bodily fluids, and sterilization.
- Precision: Enables miniaturization in medical devices.
- Biocompatibility: Safe for prolonged human tissue contact.
Medical Applications:
- Surgical Instruments: Endoscopic tools, catheters, and biopsy needle tubes requiring precise fluid channels.
- Fluid Delivery: Infusion systems, insulin pumps, and micro-dosing devices.
- Diagnostics: Blood gas analyzers, chromatography, and lab-on-a-chip technologies.
- Implants: Used in components of pacemakers or neurostimulators where miniaturization is critical.
