Q245R Material Introduction

Q245R is a commonly used material for steel plates for pressure vessels, which complies with the Chinese national standard GB713 and also meets the requirements of ASME Section VIII for material properties. The material has the following characteristics:

Chemical composition: low carbon, low alloy steel, the main components include C, Mn, Si, etc., to ensure excellent toughness and welding performance.

Mechanical properties:

Yield strength: ≥245 MPa

Tensile strength: 450-600 MPa

Elongation: ≥21%
