TP321 / UNS S32100 is a robust choice for applications demanding thermal stability and corrosion resistance, especially where welding is involved. Always confirm project-specific requirements with engineering standards. Composition: Chromium (17–19%), Nickel (9–12%), Titanium (≥5xC% min, typically 0.4–0.7%). Titanium Stabilization: Added to prevent sensitization (chromium carbide precipitation at grain boundaries) during welding or exposure to 425–815°C (800–1500°F). This enhances corrosion resistance post-welding.
