Application
ASME SB163 UNS N04400 Monel 400 nickel alloy seamless tube is primarily used in harsh environments requiring excellent corrosion resistance and high mechanical strength. Its seamless structure ensures the tube's integrity under pressure.
Its excellent performance in saltwater and acidic conditions makes it a key material in the marine and offshore industries, used in components such as propeller shafts, pump shafts, seawater valves, and heat exchanger tubes on ships and platforms.
In the chemical processing industry, it is an essential material for handling sulfuric acid, hydrofluoric acid, alkalis, and solvents, and is used in reactors, distillation columns, and process piping systems. Furthermore, its ability to maintain strength across a wide temperature range, from cryogenic to high temperatures, extends its reliability to wellhead components and crude oil pipelines in oil and gas production, feedwater heaters and evaporator tubes in power generation, and fuel and hydraulic lines in aerospace.
