This product is a U-bend tube fabricated from N04400 nickel-copper alloy (Monel 400) as specified by the ASME SB163 standard, featuring a bright surface finish. Its defining characteristic is the cold-bending process that forms straight tubing into a precise U-shaped bend, while retaining the material's inherent excellent corrosion resistance and mechanical properties. It is designed for high-reliability and space-efficient heat exchange and fluid conveyance systems.
Material: N04400 (UNS N04400) Nickel-Copper Alloy, commonly known as Monel 400. It is a nickel (approx. 63-70%) and copper (approx. 28-34%) based, solid-solution strengthened alloy renowned for its exceptional resistance to a wide range of corrosive environments, including seawater, acidic, and alkaline solutions.
U-Bend Tube:Refers to straight tubing that has been formed (typically by cold bending) into a 180-degree U-shape with a specific bend radius (R).
