Stainless Steel Medical Grade Hypodermic Tube For Injection Needle ISO9626 AISI304 1.4301
ISO9626 SUS304 Hypodermic Tube refers to a precision-made, cold-drawn, welded stainless steel capillary tube manufactured specifically for medical injection needles. It complies with ISO 9626:2016 (Stainless steel needle tubing for the manufacture of medical devices) and utilizes SUS304 (equivalent to AISI 304 / 1.4301) austenitic stainless steel. The entire range of needle gauges from 10 Gauge(largest) down to 34 Gauge(smallest). Hypodermic tubes are characterized by their ultra-smooth interior bore, precise concentricity, and defect-free surface finish. Unlike standard mechanical tubes, medical hypodermic tubes require "pinhole-free" integrity to ensure that no bacteria can become trapped in microscopic crevices and that fluid flow remains laminar. YUHONG GROUP is one of the biggest manufacturer and supplier of medical grade stainless steel capillary tubes in China. We can customize capillary tubes and needle tubes of different sizes according to client’s requirements. Our medical capillary tubes are typically supplied in fixed lengths of 2,000mm or commonly cut to specific lengths for assembly, such as 25mm, 50mm, 100mm and so on.
Key Features of SUS304 Medical Grade Hypodermic Tubes:
- Corrosion Resistance: Excellent resistance to bodily fluids, saline, chemicals, and sterilization processes.
- Non-Magnetic: The austenitic structure is essentially non-magnetic, which is critical for certain medical environments.
- Applicability: Designed specifically for rigid stainless steel needle tubing, not for flexible tubing.
- High Precision: Characterized by high dimensional precision, tight size tolerances, and strict consistency.
- Strength: High tensile strength and yield strength to prevent bending or buckling during procedures.
- Ductility: Good formability for processes like bevel grinding.
- Temperature Resistance: Retains mechanical properties under thermal stress.
- Surface Finish: Exceptional, smooth surface finish. Often bright annealed, electropolished, or passivated to prevent contamination.
- Cleanliness: High level of cleanliness; surfaces must be free of metal contamination and processing agents when inspected with normal or corrected vision.

Different Applications of SUS304 Hypodermic Tubes:
- Hypodermic Needles (Injection & Aspiration): The most common application. Used for subcutaneous, intramuscular, and intravenous injections of drugs, vaccines, and blood draws.
- Dental Needles: Fine-gauge needles (27G – 30G) for administering local anesthetics.
- Veterinary Needles: Larger gauge needles (14G – 18G) for thick medications or large animals.
- Pen Needles: Ultra-fine (31G – 34G) short-length needles for insulin injection pens.
- Biopsy Needles: Core biopsy or fine-needle aspiration (FNA) tools where sharpness and precision are required.
- IV Catheter Components: Used as the "trocar" or introducer needle within plastic catheters.
- Industrial & Laboratory: Dispensing needles for robotics, precision fluid dispensing, or gas chromatography (though medical grade is still required for bio-research).
