ASME SB171 C70600 CuNi 90/10 Forged Ring for Seawater and Marine Systems
This product is a 90/10 copper-nickel alloy forged ring manufactured in accordance with ASME SB171, with material designation C70600. Composed of 90% copper and 10% nickel, supplemented with minor additions of iron and manganese, it offers excellent resistance to seawater corrosion, biofouling, and exhibits good workability. Produced through a forging process, the ring features a dense microstructure and stable mechanical properties. It is widely used in shipbuilding, marine engineering, seawater desalination systems, petrochemical facilities, and other applications requiring high corrosion resistance, serving as flanges, tube sheets, valve bodies, and structural connection components.
