ASME SB163 UNS N02201 Seamless Nickel Alloy Tube For Heat Exchanger And Condenser
ASME SB163 UNS N02201 Seamless Nickel Alloy Tube For Heat Exchanger And Condenser
ASME SB163 UNS N02201 Seamless Nickel Alloy Tube refers to a seamless tube manufactured from a pure, low-carbon nickel alloy (UNS N02201), produced in accordance with the ASME SB163 specification. ASME SB163 is the material specification that is commonly used for seamless tubes in heat transfer applications. UNS N02201 (also known as Nickel 201, Alloy 201) is a wrought, commercially pure nickel alloy (99.0% min Ni) with a controlled maximum carbon content of 0.02%. Unlike UNS N02200 (Nickel 200), the low carbon content in N02201 prevents the precipitation of graphite at temperatures between 300°C to 600°C (572°F to 1112°F). This ensures the tube maintains excellent ductility and corrosion resistance in high-temperature environments where carbon precipitation would otherwise lead to material failure. ASTM B163 UNS N02201 nickel alloy seamless tubes are widely used for heat exchangers, condensers, oil furnace, petrochemical industry, and so on.
