ASTM A182 F51 / UNS S32205 Duplex Steel Blind Flange AISI B16.5 BLRF Flange
A blind flange is a solid disc used to terminate the end of a piping system or close a valve opening. Unlike other flanges, it has no bore. It provides mechanical strength to withstand internal pressure (end load) while allowing future access.
ASTM A182 F51 Blind Flange (Duplex Stainless Steel) ASME B16.5 BLRF Flange – A solid, disc-shaped pipe flange manufactured from Duplex 2205 (UNS S31803) forging material per ASTM A182 Grade F51, designed to seal the end of a piping system (blind flange) with a raised face (RF) gasket seating surface, and dimensioned according to ASME B16.5 for pressure classes NPS ½ through 24 or ASME B16.47, B16.48 for larger flanges over 24".
