ASME SA312 TP310S (UNS S31008) is a high-alloy austenitic heat-resistant stainless steel seamless tube manufactured according to ASME SA312/SA312M standards. It is suitable for high-temperature furnace applications and generally corrosive environments. The core positioning of this product is "a dedicated seamless tube solution for high-temperature furnace tube applications in industries such as petrochemicals, heat treatment, and power generation."
With its high chromium content of 24.0%-26.0% and high nickel content of 19.0%-22.0%, TP310S forms a dense Cr₂O₃ oxide layer protective film in high-temperature oxidizing environments, exhibiting superior high-temperature stability compared to conventional 304/316 stainless steel grades—particularly in furnace service where oxidation resistance is critical.
Core Applications: Petrochemical industry applications include cracking furnace tubes, conversion furnace tubes, heat treatment furnace radiant tubes, boiler superheater tubes, heat exchanger tubes, as well as thermocouple protection tubes, carburizing furnace muffle tanks, and other high-temperature load-bearing and heat-corrosion resistant components for industrial furnace systems, where prolonged furnace cycling demands sustained material performance.
