Key Limitations to Consider:
- Not for Oxidizing Acids: Monel 400 performs poorly in strongly oxidizing environments, such as nitric acid and ferric chloride solutions.
- Ammonia Systems: It is also rapidly attacked by ammonia systems and is not recommended for such applications.
