1. General Introduction
UNS C12200 is a high-purity phosphorus deoxidized copper (Cu-DHP), the most widely used seamless copper tube for refrigeration, HVAC, heat exchangers and fluid transmission systems. Different from ordinary pure copper, C12200 adds trace phosphorus for deoxidation, which completely eliminates hydrogen embrittlement risk (hydrogen disease) and greatly improves welding, bending and flaring performance.
