ASTM A213 T11 is a chromium-molybdenum (Cr-Mo) low-alloy ferritic seamless steel tube, with the nominal composition of 1.25Cr-0.5Mo-Si. It is in minimum wall thickness or, if specified in the order, average wall thickness. T11 alloy steel offers good weldability, requiring preheating to 300°C prior to welding and post-weld stress relief treatment. The product is widely utilized in high-pressure, ultra-high-pressure, and subcritical power station boiler superheaters, reheaters, headers, and main steam pipelines, as well as nuclear power heat exchangers and petrochemical cracking unit furnace tubes.

*Heat treatment
The ASTM A213 T11 seamless tubes shall be made by the hot-rolling or cold-drawn seamless process. The tubes may be furnished in two heat treated conditions: full or isothermal annealed; or normalized and tempered (N+T). Especially, if N+T is adopted, the tempering temperature shall be no less than 650°C [1200°F].
