Precision U Bend Tubes for Heat Exchanger Tube Bundles
ASTM A213 TP316L Seamless U Bend Tubes are manufactured from seamless stainless steel tubes through precision cold bending and heat treatment processes for shell and tube heat exchangers, condensers and boilers.
Compared with straight tubes, U bend tubes eliminate intermediate welded joints inside the heat exchanger, reducing potential leakage points while improving structural reliability and thermal efficiency. Each tube is bent to the specified centerline radius and inspected to ensure dimensional accuracy, wall thickness integrity and surface quality.
The low-carbon TP316L stainless steel provides excellent resistance to pitting and intergranular corrosion after welding, making these tubes suitable for chloride-containing cooling water, chemical processing fluids and industrial heat transfer systems.
