ASTM A312 TP304 Seamless Stainless Steel Hollow Bar refers to hot-finished or cold-drawn austenitic stainless steel hollow tubular products. This ASTM A312 standard governs seamless, welded, and heavily cold-worked austenitic stainless steel pipes intended for high-temperature and general corrosive service. TP304 / UNS S30400 is the most widely used 18-8 chromium-nickel stainless steel grade in the A312 specification series. Different from welded stainless steel tubes, TP304 seamless hollow bars are produced via piercing, rolling, and drawing processes without any welding seams. The homogeneous integral structure eliminates weld weakness, delivering superior pressure resistance, structural uniformity, and corrosion resistance. It is universally applicable for fluid transportation, high-temperature piping, mechanical structural hollow parts, and industrial equipment manufacturing.
