ASTM A213 T2 alloy steel tube is a seamless low-alloy ferritic steel tube. It is specifically designed for high-temperature service. Unlike austenitic stainless steels, T2 is a ferritic/martensitic steel that offers excellent resistance to high-temperature oxidation and creep, without the high cost of nickel-based alloys. It is widely used in power generation, petrochemical, and refinery industries where sustained exposure to elevated temperatures and internal pressures is standard.
