ASTM A213/ASME SA213 TP304H(1,4948, UNS S30409) is an austenitic stainless steel seamless tube specified under ASME Standard SA213/SA213M, which is for Seamless Ferritic and Austenitic Alloy-Steel Boiler, Superheater, and Heat-Exchanger Tubes. TP304H grrade is high-carbon version of 304 austenitic stainless steel. The suffix “H” means controlled higher carbon content, designed for elevated temperature applications to maintain good creep strength at high temperatures. ASME SA213 TP304H Stainless Steel Seamless Tube is a high-carbon austenitic stainless steel tube designed for elevated-temperature and high-pressure service. It combines the corrosion resistance and fabricability of 18-8 stainless steel with improved creep and rupture strength. It is normally supplied solution annealed, either pickled or bright annealed, in straight or U-bent form, and is widely used in boilers, superheaters, heat exchangers, and petrochemical equipment.

Surface Finishes:
- Pickled & Annealed: After solution annealing, the tube is pickled in acid to remove oxide scale. Surface is matte silver-grey, free of heavy oxide. It is the standard finish for power plant heat exchange tubes.
- Bright Annealed: Annealed in a protective atmosphere; bright, clean, oxide-free surface. Common for precision heat-exchanger tubes.
Typical Applications:
It is mainly used for high temperature steam side service, not for low-temperature corrosive fluid services.

2.Heat exchangers: High-temperature shell & tube heat exchangers in chemical and petrochemical plants.
