ASTM A213 / A269 TP316 / 316L Cold Finish Stainless Steel Seamless Tube For Fluid Transport
ASTM A213/A269 TP316/316L Cold Finish Stainless Steel Seamless Tube is a cold-finished, seamless austenitic stainless steel tube made in grades TP316 and TP316L, often supplied dual certified as 316/316L. TP316 contains molybdenum, which improves corrosion resistance, especially against chlorides and reducing acids. TP316L is the low-carbon version, offering better resistance to sensitization and intergranular corrosion after welding. A213 is mainly used for elevated-temperature and pressure service, while A269 is used for general corrosive service, instrumentation, and fluid handling.
