ASTM A213 specifies the standard specifications for seamless ferritic and austenitic steel boiler, superheater, and heat-exchanger tubes, including TP316 grade, ensuring consistency and quality in manufacturing.

ASTM A213 TP316 stainless steel seamless tubes typically contain:

- Carbon: ≤0.08%

- Manganese: ≤2.00%

- Phosphorus: ≤0.045%

- Sulfur: ≤0.030%

- Silicon: ≤1.00%

- Chromium: 16.0-18.0%

- Nickel: 11.0-14.0%

- Molybdenum: 2.00-3.00%

 

Heat Exchanger Tube Mechanical Properties:

 

- Yield Strength: ≥205 MPa

- Tensile Strength: ≥515 MPa

- Elongation: ≥35%

- Hardness: ≤ 217 HBW

 

Final Finishing:

Solution Annealed & Pickled/Bright Annealed.

Hydrostatic Testing 100% Hydrostatic Testing carried out according to ASTM-A 450 norms for checking tube leakage, and biggest pressure we can support 20Mpa/7s .
Air Under Pressure Test To check any evidence of air leakage
Visual Inspection After passivation, every single length of tubes & pipes is subjected to thorough visual inspection by trained staff for detecting surface flaws & other imperfections
