Monel 400 is copper nickel alloy,has good corrosion resistance. In salty water or seawater has excellent resistance to pitting corrosion, stress corrosion ability. Especially hydrofluoric acid resistance and resistance to the hydrochloric acid. Widely used in the chemical, oil, Marine industry.

Condition & Finish

The seamless pipe or tube manufactured to ASTM B165 shall be furnished in annealed or stress-relieved condition. The surface of annealed pipe or tube is soft, with a dull matte finish. The stress relieving refers to thermally treated below the annealing temperature to relieve the major portion of the internal stresses. It will be furnished with a thin, light- to medium- dark surface.
