ASTM A554 Type covers standard specifications for stainless steel mechanical tubing. ASTM A554 TP304 grade is an austenitic grade designed to contain high levels of nickel and chromium and other alloys. This composition gives these modules enhanced resistance to corrosive and reducing media in the system. ASTM A554 Style 304 Pipe is suitable for medium to high temperature settings. The multi-purpose grade tube has good strength, making it highly stable in the system. SA554 grade Mt 304 tubing is pressurized vessel grade designed for sizes up to 16 inches with wall thicknesses in excess of 0.51 mm.
Tubes of ASTM A554 Type TP304 are available in square, round, rectangular and special shapes upon consumer request. ASME SA554 Tp304 Square Tube is designed for use in high temperature settings where normal grades would be disoriented. These pipes have a square cross-sectional area to provide stability and support for different mechanical applications. ASME SA554 Gr 304 Seamless Square Tube is a high strength grade produced by passing a hot billet through the material grade to precisely shape it to the desired size. These tubes have enhanced load carrying capacity and can be supplied in hot or cold drawn conditions. SA554 Tp304 cold drawn seamless pipe is processed shortly after hot drawing at room temperature. These tubes have an excellent surface finish and higher tolerances than hot rolled tubes. A554 Type 304 Welded Pipe is a durable grade produced by flat rolling steel and welding it in place by an automated welding process.
