08B-11X1T-36-F MagJack — Shielded RJ45 10/100BASE-T connector, 1×1 port, through-hole, tab-up, no LEDs, -40°C to +85°C, RoHS & UL recognized. Ideal for industrial and networking SMT boards.
Product Overview
08B-11X1T-36-F is a single-port shielded RJ45 connector with integrated Ethernet magnetics, designed for 10/100BASE-T applications.
This through-hole, right-angle (90°) RJ45 connector features tab-up orientation, no LED indicators, and industrial-grade operating temperature from -40°C to +85°C, making it ideal for rugged networking and embedded Ethernet designs.
The connector integrates high-performance magnetics compliant with IEEE 802.3 isolation requirements, providing excellent signal integrity, EMI suppression, and system reliability while reducing external component count.
Key Features & Benefits
- Integrated magnetics (TX/RX 1CT:1) — simplifies PCB routing and reduces BOM cost versus discrete transformers.
- Shielded (EMI finger) & metal housing — improves EMI performance and ground continuity in noisy environments.
- Board guide & through-hole pins — robust mechanical support for wave-solder and high-reliability assemblies.
- Industrial temperature range (−40°C to +85°C) — suitable for industrial networking and outdoor enclosures.
- High isolation (HIPOT 1500 Vrms) — meets IEEE 802.3 isolation requirements for safe Ethernet designs.
- Wave-solder recommended — peak 260°C max, 10 s max — designed for standard wave solder processes.
- RoHS compliant & UL recognized — supports regulatory and procurement requirements (File #E196366 and E169987).

Assembly & Soldering Recommendations of THT RJ45 Magjacks
- Recommended soldering: Wave soldering (through-hole). Use suggested peak 260°C and ≤10 s dwell as general guidance; validate with your board stackup and components.
- Pre-solder inspection: Ensure soldermask-defined openings align with pins and EMI tabs; allow thermal reliefs for ground tabs if required.
- Board layout tips: Provide sufficient copper on ground pads for EMI tabs, and place mounting holes or stiffeners if board will undergo mechanical stress. Keep magnetics area clear of high-speed digital traces to avoid crosstalk coupling.
- Cleaning: Use flux and cleaning agents compatible with PBT and plating finishes. Avoid aggressive chemistries that may attack housing or plating.
