The 1927nm fractional mode uses a fractional handle to focus the laser onto a small spot (approximately 0.1-0.15mm in diameter) to irradiate the skin, achieving non-ablative or micro-ablative effects primarily for skin rejuvenation and wrinkle reduction.
When applied for sufficient duration, the laser produces micro-ablative effects. With reduced duration and energy density, it creates thermal coagulation vertical bands that activate collagen and shrink the skin.
Post-treatment effects include epidermal moisture heating causing protein micro-coagulation, melanin damage and gradual discharge through macrophage metabolism, and deep dermis stimulation accelerating collagen synthesis and cell division.
