Residential stonewool insulation blanket with wire mesh or fiberglass cloth facing is an economical, lightweight thermal insulation material manufactured from natural rocks (basalt and dolomite) melted at high temperatures. The resulting fibrous strands are bonded to form flexible rolls ideal for thermal insulation, fire protection, and sound absorption applications.
