Sorbitan Tristearate SPAN65 is specifically formulated for use in various food products including:
- Shortening and margarine production
- Chocolate and chocolate spread manufacturing
- Other food applications requiring emulsification
Particularly effective for fats and oils with melting points between 32℃-34℃.
Shortening: 0.1%-0.3% by weight of fat & oils at 53℃-63℃, combined with other emulsifiers.
Chocolate: 0.1%-0.3% of total fat, melted above 53℃ with stirring before cooling and molding.
