- Remove the protective cap from the electrode
- Rinse electrode with distilled water and dry with filter paper
- Turn on the meter using the ON-OFF switch
- Immerse the electrode in the solution to be tested
- Stir gently and wait for reading stabilization
- After use, switch off and clean electrode with distilled water
- Replace protective cap for storage
- Immerse electrode in pH 6.86 standard buffer solution at 25°C
- Gently shake electrode and adjust trimmer with screwdriver
- Verify calibration with pH 4.01 or pH 9.18 standard solutions
- Wait approximately one minute for stable readings
Re-calibrate the instrument when: the electrode has been stored for extended periods, used in demanding conditions, or when maximum accuracy is required.
Replace all batteries when display fades. Pull out battery case and install new batteries, paying attention to correct polarity.
