Operation Instructions
Basic Measurement Procedure
- Remove protective cap from electrode
- Rinse electrode with distilled water and dry with filter paper
- Turn ON using the ON-OFF switch on battery case
- Immerse electrode in solution to be tested
- Stir gently and wait for reading stabilization
- After use, switch OFF, clean with distilled water, and replace protective cap
pH Calibration Process
- Immerse electrode in pH 6.86 standard buffer solution (at 25°C)
- Gently shake electrode and adjust trimmer with screwdriver to match buffer value
- Immerse electrode in pH 4.01 or pH 9.18 standard buffer solution
- Wait approximately one minute for reading stabilization
Calibration Requirements
Re-calibration is required when: electrode has been unused for extended periods, used in demanding conditions, or when maximum accuracy is essential.
Battery Replacement
Replace all batteries when display fades. Pull out battery case and install new batteries, ensuring correct polarity orientation.
