The Melzi Ardentissimo use ATMEGA644P is a full-featured control panel Sarkozy Melzi (ATMEGA1284P test) for Sanguinololu chips. It is compatible with a Sanguinololu firmware boards, although some additional functionality not Sanguinololu - Mosfet i.e. additional fan, and a software-controlled LED. Meanwhile Melzi also have a mirco SD compatible version. A complete StepStick clone boards simultaneously negates the need for an external stepper motor
