Description:

This Headstock and Tailstock positioners mainly consist by mainframe, rotation unit, electric conduction 

unit, and electric control system. 

   1:All weld seams are done according to the same grade intensity. The machine is annealing treated to 

remove inner stress. This can prevent distortion during processing.

   2:Worktable use internal gear rotation bearing and φ600mm workable connected, worktable equipped 

with a 3-jaws chuck φ500mm, which can ensure the workpiece rotation stability and easy for compact the

 workpiece. Rotation unit use the warm and wheel reducer, and drive by VFD motor, through the gear and

 wheel couple transmission, and keep the rotation speed within the range of 0.02-0.2rpm for different sized

 workpiece. 

   3:Electric conduction unit installed at the bottom of the rotation bearing, contacted by grounding bolt and 

rotation bearing, middle connected with copper belt onto the external part of the mainframe to conduction 

welding current.  

    Worktable rotation:  

   1:worktable can rotation to the random direction in the plane of itself, control the button on the remote 

control box to realize it’s CW, CCW and stop.

2:Rotation unit transmission process: rotation motor→double step warm and wheel reducer→internal gear

 rotation bearing→worktable rotation, due to it use the worm and wheel reducer, so it has self-lock

 function. Loading eccentricity limited by the loading capacity, the relationship between eccentricity and

 rotation capacity, see above diagram fig.1. 

Applications:

head and tailstock positioners provide both lifting and powered variable-speed rotation in either direction. The units are ideal for welding, torch cutting, or cladding operations. Idler tailstock positioners have the same specifications as the corresponding headstock positioners, except they are not powered. The two units may be spaced apart to accommodate a variety of work-holding fixture lengths.
